“Amazing Hostel!”
My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashfield! We had a private twin room with ensuite and the room was the perfect size, very clean and very safe. The staff were all so nice and friendly- everyone always had a smile. It’s a great location, being about a 5-10 minute walk from Temple Bar and other sites such as O’Connell Bridge and Grafton Street. I would definitely stay here again!

“Liverpool band visit”
We came over to Dublin for one night to play a show. Would definitely recommend it to other bands. Very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. You can leave your bags in a safe place and use the lounge to chill out and get a free tea or coffee. Also very centrally located.

Really central in Dublin, value for money. Knowledgeable staff. Nothing too much trouble. Great breakfast included in low price. Gay friendly.

A very efficient hostel, friendly, informative with pretty much everything covered. A good choice of breakfast was included in the price. Our room was good with an adequate en-suite, clean and comfortable beds. The location was brilliant.

Extremely helpful and incredibly nice staff. The rooms are well kept and there is plenty of room downstairs for games, work, and hanging out. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place.

“Nice atmosphere, perfect location!”
We really enjoyed our stay at Ashfield. We stayed for 2 nights when we first arrived to Ireland and for 1 night at the end of our trip, and we couldn’t be happier with both visits! The staff were super friendly, and very helpful. They gave us great advice at our time of check-in, and were very funny in doing so! The main area is bright, spacious and very clean. The rooms are a little small but comfortable, and they were clean too – as clean as an old building would allow. Breakfast was good. Very satisfactory! And over-all, the atmosphere there very pleasant. There were people from all over the world staying there, and many were families. So refreshing! It was also really great to be a 2-minute walk from the Temple Bar area without staying right in the heart of the party. We love a good party like the next people, but we also appreciated the sleep we got the night before our flights home, haha. Anyway, I would definitely recommend Ashfield Hostel to others visiting Dublin 🙂

“Solo trip”
Very clean and helpful. No complaints. Great location due to the proximity of trinity college. Rooms were well protected, comfortable and the walls are thick enough that you don’t have to hear the neighbors. So from me nothing but love.

“The best hostel by far I’ve been in Dublin”
This has been the eighth time I’ve been in Dublin (basically because I love it) and I must say that it has been the best hostal I’ve been from all times than I was. The day which I go back to Dublin I’ll book it again.

“My really nice stay at Ashfield Hostel in Dublin”
I stayed two nights at this beautiful hostel. Before I came here I saw some references who were exactly written the same as some other hostels’ references so I went to their facebook page to check. I almost found only positive references so I decided to book my room there…
I stayed at the 6 Bed Female dorm. It was clean (it got cleaned everyday) only thing is that is sometimes noisy because the hostel is located near Temple bar so there are sometimes people shouting on street at night and there are buses and cars driving a lot. But it was a thing I got used to quite fast. The staff is fantastic, nice and friendly and always in good mood. It’s nice to come down and get a warmly greeting and a smile in the morning… they are not nice because it’s their job they are nice because they are. Breakfast is included and it’s more variety than in other hostels I stayed in before, that’s also a benefit. Just go and enjoy your stay there and in Ireland.
